We feel strongly that a customer's privacy should be protected.  Any information you supply to us is kept strictly confidential.   If at any time you believe we have not adhered to the principles stated below please send email to privacy@expertcomsoft.com and we will make every effort to investigate and fix the problem.

Email Addresses
Email addresses of registered users are used for sending out registration information.  They are also added to our mailing list, unless otherwise requested, which is solely used to notify of new releases.  Email addresses of persons making enquiries about HexEdit are used for replies when appropriate.  They are also added to our mailing list, unless otherwise requested, which is solely used to notify of new releases.

Email addresses are not sold or in any way made available to any other party.  All email addresses are stored in an encrypted database, of which only two people know the password.  Email addresses are kept solely to notify of new releases of HexEdit.  Removal from the mailing list is simply a matter of asking.

Names, Addresses etc
Only names of registered users are kept and used for generation of activation codes.  Other personal information, if supplied, such as addresses or phone numbers, is not stored in our database or used in any way.

Web Site
Feedback from users is only published on our "Testimonials" page after consent is given.  No information is stored about users of the web site, except that entered by  registered users of the Forums.   The site does not use cookies except in the Forums (and these can be easily deleted).
